What is an investment ratio?
Where can I find an easy to read chart of investment ratios? What age is best served by a 50% stock and 50% bond ratio? At what age should I switch my portfolio to 40% stock and 60% bond ratio?

Hi @ M3po, Investment Ratio is also known as the return ratio](IIR) or Return on Investment(ROI). Investment Ratios measure the performance of an investment or it can be said that they measure the performance of the overall business in case of an organization. Some of the commonly used investment ratios are P/E Ratio, Earning Per Share or EPS, Return on Equity (ROE), Dividend Payout Ratio, Net Asset Value(NAV), Profit Margin, Turnover Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Market Capitalization etc. Net Asset Value is calculated for mutual funds.
The turnover ratio is calculated as a ratio of cost of goods sold to the average inventory during that time. Higher the turnover ratio better is the performance of the company. The remaining terms relate to various methods of calculating the fit of a company and its shares on the stock market.
