You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Albumin is a kind of plasma protein in humans and other mammals, which normally prevented by kidneys from being excreted in the urine.

But sometime albumin can be found in their urine as causes by some kidney diseases, heavy exercise, poor blood sugar control, urinary tract infections, and other illnesses.

Albuminuria is a condition that high levels albumin being excreted in urine.

Albuminuria may indicate:
- Kidney damage
- Dysfunction of endothelial cells throughout the body, which in turn may be a precursor to hypertension
- Cardiovascular disease in individuals with diabetes or hypertension.

Albumen is the clear substance that surrounds the yolk of an egg. When it is beaten or cooked, albumen looks white and may be called an egg white, puggle or glair.

If you are talking about urine it's Albumin. Albumin is the main protein found in the blood. Excess levels of Albumin in urine is called Proteinuria.

"Proteinuria is a sign of chronic kidney disease (CKD), which can result from diabetes, high blood pressure, and diseases that cause inflammation in the kidneys." from http://kidney.niddk.nih.gov/kudiseases/pubs/proteinuria/
