What is a safe, lightweight program to import pictures from my camera?
When I connect my camera to my Windows XP desktop the camera wizard always pops up and everything's all peachy. However, with my Windows 7 laptop I plug in my camera and nothing happens. The driver was installed the first time I plugged it in but yeah still no wizard. I tried starting it manually by running the wiaacmgr.exe but it says there are no scanners. But when I "View scanners and cameras" I see my camera there. So since this isn't working I need a free lightweight program so I can import them (because I don't want to have to drag and drop like it's a flashdrive, i like the customization settings).

Picasa is a great tool to download and organize your pictures. http://picasa.google.com/
It may not be as lightweight as you would like it to be, but it will give you the option to erase pictures from your camera and give you lots of other great ways to organize your photo library.
