Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

a polynomial is an expression of finite length constructed from variables (also known as indeterminates) and constants, using only the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and non-negative integer exponents.
For example, x^2 − 4x + 7 is a polynomial, but x^2 − 4/x + 7x^(3/2) is not, because its second term involves division by the variable x (4/x) and because its third term contains an exponent that is not a whole number (3/2).

A polynomial, which is a mathematical expression or term comprising a sum of terms, every term consisting of a variable or variables elevated to a power as well as multiplied by a coefficient, is a monomial or the sum or difference of monomials. And, every monomial is called a term of the polynomial.

At the same time, polynomial rings constructed by polynomials are the most significant concepts in algebra as well as arithmetic geometry. In fact, in polynomial equations, the degree of a non-zero polynomial is the supreme degree or amount of any single term.

Students as well as mathematics scholars make use of polynomials to create polynomial equations that inscribe a vast variety of math difficulties ranging from fundamental to complicated problems in both mathematics as well as science field.
