Maplestory is a free online game that only works on pc computers ( not macs unfortuately). It is based on a japanese theme where players can chat and make friends via battling blobs and tree stumps and snails and goblins ... Etc. You can do quest to earn money and xp which is used to buy weapons and level up. You walk around using the mouse and keyboard. It has different worlds and is similar to runescape except in a differnt art style. It is mainly played by teenagers and is very popular around the world, because it has different languages. You start off choosing between a thief, mage, warrior or archer. Once it is chosen, thats your skill and youll have different talents. Example - a thief will earn more money after a blob is killed, a mage will have a better defence level, a warrior will be better at doing more damage to blobs... , and a archer can shoot away from the thing without better hit, unless of course if the thing your attacking can fly or shoot long ranged as well.
