What is a low energy replacement for a hallogen bipin bulb?
I have an outdoor motion sensing light who's bulbs are now dead. I took them out and found out those suckers were 75W! I'd like something with a little bit lower wattage. Do they make bipin LED's or CFL's? If so are they cost efficient? The specification light I'm trying to replace is... "GY8.6 75W 110-130V. " Also, if you can find me one for a reasonable price I'd appreciate it.

You could try to retrofit it with LED's.

That is very tempting! I think I would do it if it wasn't for the low voltage (12V) requirement. The bulb i'm trying to replace is a 110-130 V-- I wonder if it would matter?
