I couldn't find anything on Lens Lucinda but I did find something about a Camera Lucida or Lucida Lens.
The Camera Lucida is a device (specifically a prism with a reflective side) that superimposes an image of the subject over your art media by having the artist look at the media with one eye and a reflection of the subject with the other eye at the same time.
