What is a great restaurant in the Gaslamp District of San Diego?

Great food, interesting food, cheap deals, happy hour?

Tip for best answer: M$5.05
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Great drinks, good food & love the energetic atmosphere. I was alittle leery about cooking my own steak but it was a fun experience. Nice side items; the mac & chesse will make you go to sleep and the cheese fries are nice as well. ...‎

I suggest you try Phil's B.B.Q, located at 3750 Sports Arena Blvd, San Diego, California 92110, with contact number (619) 226-6333. It is rated number one at tripadvisor.com customer reviews. According to a review by 'DixieTameside' of Manchester, she posted “As good as everyone says.”

-quote-

"We had read about this on tripadvisor and used to go to Phil`s webcam to see how busy it was , and we started to look forward to going whilst we were on our roadtrip from Vegas to LA to San Diego. phil`s did not disappoint everything was excellent from the first greeting to the food, if you are in..."

For a reallllly fun time you just gotta go to "The shame o Gaslamp Quarter since 1991" - DICK'S LAST RESORT. Their loggo is: "This is the joint your Momma warned you about". Great food, drinks, desserts and a fun, fun, fun atmosphere. My fav on the menu is the bourbon glazed salmon. My husband's choice = the ribs. Great salads also. Nothing fancy just flat out fun! Expect service with a smile AND a whole lot else! I'll leave you guessing on that last comment.

Dick's Last resort is located at 345 Fourth Avenue in the Gaslamp Quarter (phone # 619-231-9100) You can view their menu on line at www.dickslastresort/San Diego.com.
