What is a great name or title for a newspaper column which focuses on tech?

I was recently hired by my local newspaper to write a weekly tech column for them (with thanks to Mahalo for the writing experience!). The column's content will vary weekly from industry news, reviews, tips, the latest products, websites, everything. To sum it up, "whatever you find interesting for the week in IT" is what the column will contain.

I've been asked to find a title for my column - you know, just a headline that will top the column each week so readers will know it is the same from week to week. Again, I've been given flexibility to name it whatever I'd like - but I can't come up with anything! I've been WRACKING my brain and all my friends for ideas and I've not really come up with anything that really sticks. So, I need your help!

My only notes:
-Readership will be mainly college students with a variety of interests
-It must be fairly short - around 15 characters or 3 words maximum
-Catchy and memorable, and NOT plain (Today's Tech? Blah.)
-Conveys the fact that the column will be about tech without restricting it to a certain area like reviews or computers, etc
-Might want to contain the word "tech", or if it flows nicely, a portion of my name (Rachel Fee)
However, a great idea that varies from this (within reason) is certainly acceptable!

The only idea I'm still playing with is this one, but I'm not sure if it comes across a little.... lame? So I'm hoping I will stumble on something better with your help!

Thanks again for all your lovely ideas, darlings!

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Wow Rachel... I'm so proud of you! Congrat-ula-frickin'-lations! Sounds like a great job to stack on great experience for your future!

I actually like your idea of techFEE'd. It's not bad!
The only other idea that popped in my head was playing something off of the pun from The IT Crowd. You could called it The IT Column.

I just love The IT Crowd. They're funny. I can't wait until the next season.

Sadly... I haven't seen The IT crowd! I don't think it's as popular here, maybe. Perhaps I should ask around and see if others have heard of it!

Thanks for the feedback love!

The IT Crowd is a big sitcom hit over in the UK. I just love the characters. I know you would love the show too! If you have Netflix... just pop some shows in the queue.

Hey... what about Tech Talk... is that already being (over) used?

I'm actually thinking techfee'd is a good name for it.
Especially if it is formatted like a news feed.
I'm not big on the formatting you chose however.
Call me old fashioned, but I still prefer proper nouns capitalized(ie the name of your column)
So I'd prefer to see it formatted like-a-so TechFee'd
Besides it sounds like you're shouting your last name with what you have.

Now you could get real silly and throw an emoticon in the mix.

TechFee:D

Huh? Huh?
How's that for awesome.
Sincerely,
-Had way too much coffee tonight.

Good point, and that's why I had through it might be a little "lame".
I do like TechFee'd or even techFee'd (to play on the capitalization of variables in programming) - can't say I'm a fan of the emoticon, though, just because it looks disjointed - I think few people would read it all as one word.

Thanks for the suggestion, though!

(PS - is this who I think it is based on the name and the newness of the account? :P Either way - Welcome to Mahalo!)

i think you should call it something like - ReadIT - if you get it, read cos thats what you do, then IT, information technology,

i didn't think that was too bad from the top of my head lol

Ok, I needed a few days to think about this one.

How about "Tech Time"
or
"Tech Talk"

"Weekly Tech Talk with Rachel"

"TECHnically Speaking with Rachel Fee"

By the way, CONGRATS!!! What an awesome opportunity!

Thanks @ginamichellesattic.. I DO like these, but unfortunately I had to submit this morning! I'm sure there will be an opportunity to change it in the future, though!

College students are often drawn to titles which convey the concepts of rebellion, struggle and change. For example, "GorillaTECH' or "DisruptiveTECH" or TwentySecond Century Today" or "TECHFuture". I imagine that you can see the point.
