What is a good recipe for tomato sauce with low acid?

Never could stand high acid tomato sauces and am looking for one so that when I make lasagna next time I can eat it. When you use low salt cheese and other items in your sauce it seems to bring out the acid more. The acid really makes me ill, so I need some suggestions.

Use yellow or white tomatoes. They are less acidic in nature! You may need to buy these tomatoes in health food stores. Also, peel the skin off any type of tomato. The skin is also acidic. Add baking soda into your recipe to lower any existing acidity!

Today I also Googled a low-acidic recipe. My mother-in-law has many stomach issues. She loves tomato sauce but has trouble eating it. I hope this helps you!

Good Luck!
