What is a good name for a personal e-mail address in the form something@firstlastname.com.
A friend of mine has "hello" which I think is great but I don't want to copy him. Any good ideas?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

If you don't like that, you could try:
me@firstnamelastname.com
self@firstnamelastname.com
I suppose you could do something like "holler@firstnamelastname.com" but I really think firstname@firstnamelastname.com is standard and professional.

Depends why you took the domain firstnamelastname.com in the first place.
If it's for professional reasons, such as you are a one person business or have a business named after yourself, then the email addresses are in effect person@business or department@business.
So joe@joesmith.com, jsmith@joesmith.com or sales@joesmith.com would all be pretty standard.
Anyway most of the time your friends will see "Joe Smith" in their address book and not care what the underlying address is.
