What is a good milk free pancake recipe?

I do not drink milk, but I love pancakes.
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Recipezaar had this easy milk-free recipe (makes 6 pancakes):
- 1 cup white flour
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 tablespoons margarine
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 egg
For the rest of the directions, here's the link

If you don't like that recipe I included the links for a few others:
-Replaces milk with soy milk: http://crowtherfam.blogspot.com/2008/02/milk-free-egg-free-pancakes.html
-Adds blueberries http://www.recipezaar.com/Blueberry-Pancakes-Milk-free-Egg-free-92649
-Uses Bisquick: http://www.recipezaar.com/No-Milk-in-the-House-Melt-in-Your-Mouth-Pancakes-241748

Hope that helps!

Beer works very well to make light and fluffy pancakes--just substitute beer for milk in the recipe. A lager works best.
