What is a good Irish recipe to cook?
I want to fix a traditional Irish meal for St. Patrick's Day, so what would that be exactly? Is corned beef Irish?

Making a traditional Irish meal for St Patricks Day doesn't have to be hard. Many people traditionally cook Corned Beef & Cabbage for St. Patricks Day but it is not a traditional Irish dish. In Ireland it is mostly served to tourists in restaurants and not in private homes.
If you would really like to make a traditional Irish meal, you may want to try
Irish Stew, Lamb Shanks Braised in Stout or Centurion Lamb. Lamb is a very popular dish in Ireland. For side dishes you can serve Colcannon, potato cakes, Red Onion Tart with Cashel Blue Cheese or Turnip and Potato Casserole. Vegetables can include leeks, cranberry chutney, turnips or parsnips.
For your desert menu, serve some delicious Strawberry and Baileys Fool, Irish Apple Cake or Lemon Syllabub. Bake up some tasty scones or buttermilk biscuits to complete the meal. You can find recipes for all of these dishes online. One great place to start is Irishabroad.com
