What is a good ice cream maker I can buy?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

My model is slightly older than this one, but very similar. The model shown by the other poster is definitely nicer and higher end, so it depends on how frequently you would use it.
If have a general rule that the worth of an item is dependent on its frequency of use. Thus, I didn't purchase the fanciest ice cream maker out there because if I ate that much ice cream, I'd be creating a whole new problem.
To illustrate my worth theory, if you will wear a $400 coat 6 months of the year, 6 days a week, for 6 years - then that coat would be worn roughly 924 times. Thus, the coat costs $0.43/wearing. If your other option is a $100 coat you don't like that much and won't last as long, so you would wear it 4 days a week for 6 months for 1 years, roughly 103 times. Thus, the coat costs $0.98/wearing and you would be better off purchasing the more expensive coat.
So if you were deciding between the 2 ice cream makers, that's how I would decide.
