What is a good cheap ink pen
I lose ink pens like crazy, so I don't want to buy expensive ones. However, I can't seem to find a good cheap ink pen. Many times, they don't even write.

I have 3 favorites, all from BIC.
The first is the BIC Atlantis. It's the most expensive of the three, but it's comfortable and it writes nicely - they always last me forever. Flows like magic. http://www.bicworld.com/en/products/details/27/atlantis http://content.etilize.com/Large/11961066.jpg
The second is the BIC Ultra Round Stic Grip. It's a very simple, cheap pen with a light grip. Comfortable enough to use every day without being extravagent. I can't tell if this is the same one (the "ultra") but it looks the same.. I doubt there is much difference http://www.bicworld.com/en/products/details/20/round-stic-grip

The third.. and my favorite, I can't at the moment find for the life of me - but I'll get back. That particular pen is at school and I'm not sure what it's called.
Bic does make nice products. If you want cheapness, buy them in boxes, which is almost ALWAYS a discount - you should be able to get them in boxes at almost any office supply store, especially if it's not a chain or independently owned. Those are the places I've seen they in boxes most commonly.
Another great option is to check local surplus stores. I know that most of the local surplus stores in my area get in cases of pens, throw them in a box, and sell them for 5 cents. Just bring a scrap of paper and test each one to make sure they work, since surplus stores can sometimes get old product in and the ink might be dried out.
One tip is to always store your pens flat. This will keep the ink even throughout the pen instead of pooling it at the wrong end. A pen kept right side up won't last as long, especially if you don't make a point of putting them in tip-down. You likely know how a pen stops working when you use it upside down. Storing a pen sideways or tip down will keep them working longest.
The cheapest and most ultimate solution - free pens. You likely know that every place hands out pens with their logos - in booths at the mall, in a box in their reception room, in banks, more. Grab a couple extra. Some of my favorite pens are ones I've gotten for free, plus it doesn't matter if they stop working, since you didn't pay for them.
One last suggestion - invest in one, good, moderately priced pen that you really like. Maybe a $5 pen in your favorite color. Because you really like it, you'll be less inclined to lose it. Always make a point of putting it in a special place. Sometimes having just one good expensive pen is better than dozens of cheap, forgettable pens. It's just like lighters - you'll lose 50 cent lighters like crazy but a zippo will last you forever since you'll never take your eyes off it.
Enjoy!~
