What is a Chayote? How is it prepared?
I was talking to a distant friend on the phone yesterday. She said that she had chayote at a fancy restaurant while on her vacation. Of course I did not want to look silly, so I just asked her if it was good and she said yes.
What exactly is a Chayote? Is it some sort of ethnic food? How is it prepared? Are there several ingredients or types of recipes?
