What impact will iPhone OS 4.0 have on the iPad?
Will the new iPhone features like multi-tasking, folders, iBookStore support, and the Game Center have a big impact on the iPad? Do these new features make you want to buy an iPad?

I definitely think that the iPhone OS 4.0 will have a big impact on the iPad. With multitasking leading the way as far as features are concerned. I know for a lot of people, this is a big reason why they are not buying it now. With the addition of this feature alone, I think it will bring more people over to want to buy one. I also think with the addition of a few more features people will want to buy the iPad as well. For example, Folders is a great addition to the iPad. I know for me, I have a bunch of apps that are similar that take up a lot of different screens, it would be nice to have one or two screens with folders of similar apps in them. Another feature that I think will convert people over is the new unified mail feature. I know for me, having 4 different email accounts for work and personal, it is going to be real nice to have all my email in the same inbox. Lastly, with even better enterprise support, assuming that this is going to come over to the iPad as well, this I believe will convince the business sector more to adapt the iPad in their every day work.
I personally think these features will get more people to buy the iPad. I know there will still be a group of people that will wait until there is a camera on it, but I think with the addition of the new OS, you will see some people go out and get one. Being that I already have an iPad, I have a hard time answering whether I would go out and get one then. Depending on when the OS comes out, Apple says the Fall, but who knows when in the Fall. I would possibly wait till the new iPad comes out. Assuming Apple follows their trend of coming out with a refresh about once a year. I personally would rather wait till the 5-6 months or so after the OS comes out and get the new OS and a new iPad all at the same time. But that is a discussion for a different time.
