What if you used a nioxin system that was meant for noticeably thinning hair but you have normal to thin looking hair?
Nioxin systems 5 and 6 are both meant for medium to coarse-grained hair and natural or chemically treated. But the only difference is that the system 6 is for noticeably thinning hair and system 5 is for normal to thin- looking. The scalp treatment for system is a spray but system 6 has foam. SO i'm a system 5 and I've been using it for two months and i'm not really getting that good of results but i wanted to know if i would get better results with system 6

Hi there. You really should stick to the Nioxin system designed specifically for your hair type. Will it hurt if you switch systems? No. You are correct, the system 5 and 6 are very similar. I really do not think you will have better results with the system 6.
It can take time to see results. I see you have been using it for 2 months, have you been using it exactly as directed? Make sure you use all three parts to the system. The results are usually gradual and subtle. Perhaps you are hoping for a miracle bushy head of hair. It would be more realistic to expect your hair to be slightly fuller and denser.
