Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

There would still be heavy people. Fast food as we now know it, however, would not exist. Fast food was born alongside highways and roads, and was intended to serve the needs of a driving public. If cars had not created the need for inter- and intra- state highways, we would certainly not have fast food. A great history of the rise of fast food is detailed in the book "Fast Food Nation".

If people had to bicycle, horseback or walk places they might have a better appreciation for things in the "real world". People tend to take weather, resources and time for granted and then when their cars are broken down or taken away? The world comes "crashing down".!

There were fat people before there were cars. We would be a lot less mobile. Only the rich would travel around the country.

There would be obese people for sure. People would find some means of transport and move from place to place. May be more greener alternatives might have been invented. Human beings are very intelligent. So we would definitely come out with a solution for the transportation problem. It need not be car.
