If Shaquille O'Neal would have stayed with the Los Angeles Lakers they would've had a great chance to win a few more titles. However because he left and went to Miami, the Lakers had to spend the next few years searching a bigman or two to replace him. Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum are good bigmen. I think the Lakers have found players to replace Shaq. Yes, they are different style players and will never be as powerful as Shaq, but it will work. Shaq proven that he can win a title without Kobe, and in 2009 Kobe has proven he can win a title without Shaq. I believe the Lakers over the next few years will be a dominant team in the NBA, especially with the Celtics aging.
