Here is a list of herbs recommended for migraines from "Prescription for Nutritional Healing, second edition".
"Bio Rizin from American Biologics contains licorice extract, which improves energy levels and helps to relieve allergy symptoms which can trigger migraines. Caution: Do not use this herb on a daily basis for more than seven days in a row. Avoid completely if you have high blood pressure."
"Feverfew helps to alleviate pain. Caution: Do not use feverfew during pregnancy."
"Ginkgo biloba extract enhances cerebral circulation."
"Other herbs effective for treatment of migraines include cayenne, chamomile, ginger, peppermint, rosemary, valerian, willow bark, and wormwood. Caution: Do not use wormwood during pregnancy. It is not recommended for long-term use."
Comments: I have found peppermint tea to have a soothing effect on migraine headaches. I have also use Black Current Seed oil which is an essential fatty acid aiding in body processes and functions.
