What happens when I copy files from NTFS to FAT32? Will pictures, movies, and other files break after losing metadata in the ADS?

I'm aware that under NTFS, certain metadata is stored in the ADS(alternate data streams) - but will the lack of this metadata corrupt media files such as movies and pictures?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I know NTFS allows for Security and Access Control within the file structure unlike FAT32 other than that I seriously doubt you'd ever see corruption of data. If fact I'm positively certain of it. It is possible that some weird file attributes could be lost but I'm kind of even uncertain of that happening.
