what happens when a treaty is signed if it violates the US consitution?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

If the Treaty is signed and it violates the U.S. Constitution, the aggrieved party may call the attention of the Senate, if the said treaty is not yet ratified, however if already ratified, the case should be brought up to the U.S. Supreme Court for deliberation on its constitutionality.

I understand, but the point is I provided the right answer based on my knowledge, but when in doubt I suggest you consult a lawyer.
