What happens to items involved in USPS insurance claims?
I bought an Omega Speedmaster moon watch from eBay. It arrived today and was clearly damaged in shipping. I am filling out a claim, and apparently one must surrender the item to the post office.
Does anyone know where claim items go? Are they cremated? Given to charity? Sold as pig food?
