If so you are entitled to keep the deposit because a deposit ensures that you will hold that specific date just for that wedding. If the wedding did not happen your time was still lost and therefore you may keep the deposit.
Two. Was there a contract involved? If so then you may be entitled to more than just a deposit since you were ready and prepared for the day, and therefore should be paid.
