What happens at the moment of death?

Is death considered to be the exact end of our natural being self as we know it, and everything around us? Or is there an actual soul that dwells deep inside the human body, that continues to exist beyond the time of death? Is the soul immortal or does it too cease to exist? What do you think about this, and what makes most sense to you?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

First we have to know that there wouldn't be death without life!
Second is that we all create our world ourself, so what YOU think about death yourself will be the most likely experience you will feel.

In western civilization we fear death, while in most other cultures death is something that is a part of our life, and it's ok, it has to be!

I agree on most of possibilities as it's there wish or there fear of what happens.

of course we can talk about the chemical and neurological thinks that happen during death but whats the clue?

we have a body and we have a mind, both are for there own purpose.
imho the mind, spirit or soul will continue to life in the bubble we call universe, but what really happens is OUR choice so we won't be able to find a single one point for all of us wich we can agree on.

really like that question! and llooking forward for some other answers.

I beilive that there is a soul deep, deep, deep down below the skin that we have yet to reveal. I also beilive that no one will ever REALLY know the answers to philosophy questions. You can try to solve them. But no matter how logical you try to make things, you will never know. You might think you know, but you really don't. The truth is, no one will ever really know. Maybe you will learn the secret to all of these unsolved questions, but probably not. So just deal with it. Why is it so important to know anyways? The only reason why we want to know so bad, is because we don't know and that kills us that we don't know the one more thing. Get over yourselves. Just keep trying to solve these questions. Good luck and have fun!!! ;)
