About a year ago, I took this printout of the picture posted below to my new hairdresser. I asked for a short, funky and uneven cut. It was very liberating to have all the weight removed (my hair was down past my shoulders).

Now I have to get my hair cut every month and a half to keep the short style, but I love it!

I also love the CHI Pliable Polish that my hair dresser uses to style my hair. It smells great and goes on like a polish, but works almost like a wax. It's awesome! I don't think I could like my new style without being able to use this polish. I can make my hair spiky, or just give it texture. I can even slather it on and go for a smooth and flat look. I feel like I've been reborn.

I buy this stuff from my hairdresser, but you can get it at target for about $15 a tube.

Wow I was actually considering that hairstyle when I was going to get my hair done a few months ago. I saw the very same picture :) I actually changed my mind and went for a longer one in the end because I was to scared to have that short of hair haha! My haircut was only a couple inches longer in the end :P

The "It's a 10" leave-in conditioner I've been using almost daily for the past six months--THAT is the hair product I wouldn't want to live without. It's done wonders for my otherwise often-frizzy, curly hair, that other leave-in conditioners didn't help much at all. I don't really know what it is about this stuff, but I squirt it on after towel-drying my hair, brush it through, and instead of frizz, I have nice, smooth, separated curls. And really soft hair, too, with no build-up even after using it so much.

See: http://www.squidoo.com/best-leave-in-conditioner

Even Sam the hair stylist digs this stuff....

There are a few hair products I can not live without. My poor brush is probably ready to be replaced. I have had it or years and love it. Shampoo and conditioner I am not too picky about. I usually get what is on sale.

I do not think I could live without hair dye. My hair is partially gray without hair dye, so I know I would look alot older if I stopped coloring my roots.

I also need mousse, hair spray and my curling iron. I know I would be lost without a blow dryer. Mine recently went out and I went a week without one. Letting my hair air dry is just something I can not get used to. Anything else I could live without, but without these specific hair products I would be lost. I guess I had never realized how much I rely on these products to look my best. I would be no good on the show Survivor.

There are a few hair products I can not live without. When we went camping last summer I realized how much my shampoo and conditioner meant to me. We could not wash our hair for a week, so most important is the shampoo and conditioner. I love Pantene and always use that. I also rely on my curling iron more than I realized. My hair is a hot mess not curled so that is another product I could not live without.

Lastly and most importantly, I could not live without a brush. I know we are supposed to comb our hair when we get out of the shower, but I usually brush my hair. 2 days without my brush and I would go nuts. I guess you do not really realize how much your rely on things until they are gone. The brush feels good on the head and is something I would go nutty without. Great question!!

I absolutely loooooove to change up my hair color, so colorful hairdyes from Sally's Beauty for one, and to control the damage for all the color changing, I need Dove's color repair shampoo and conditioner. It makes my hair feel like new again after its been blue or purple or pink!

If I had to pick a hair care product I could not live without, I would say my flat iron. That is assuming I can still have shampoo and conditioner!!

I am not picky on brands of shampoo or conditioner, or even mousse for that matter. My flat iron is awesome. It is Gold N Hot and no other flat irons seem to work for me. I have had this iron for 4 years and it still works perfect. The thing is it gets really hot. I am able to straighten my hair in about 45 minutes because of this.

Now, if I was stranded on an island and could just take ONE hair care product, I would have to choose shampoo. I would go crazy with dirty hair. With shampoo atleast I could keep clean.

The thing I would miss the most would be a brush. Not having one would drive me crazy!!

I actually don't use a lot of hair product, but I think thats a good thing because I am a little young to be filling up my hair with lots of chemicals... I think I'll wait till I'm older... But still, I love Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner. I remember when I saw their newest bottles in the store, and they were GORGEOUS! I was just like "Mum I look at these! Can we get them?" So we got them, and for my hair, they work like magic. I also remember that when I was really little, I never used conditioner. I don't know if thats normal, but I never did. Now every time I shampoo my hair, I NEED conditioner, or it still feels bad! Conditioner just makes your hair feel so smooth and silky- I love it!

Beer. I couldn't live without beer. And, I have read that it is a great shampoo ingredient, not that I care in the least.. I am utterly flabbergasted that anyone could ask this question. Who on earth could care about hair products? But, since you ask, my answer is beer.

Beer as a Conditioner
•There are a number of recipes for beer used as a conditioner. One that works well is as follows: Mix one teaspoon of jojoba oil and a cup of warm beer. Wash your hair as usual and rinse well. Pour the mixture of beer and jojoba oil into the hair. Massage it through. Let it set for a few minutes and then rinse with warm water. The beer adds body and the jojoba oil adds shine

Read more: Does Beer Make Your Hair Healthier? | eHow.com http://www.ehow.com/how-does_4570135_does-beer-hair-healthier.html#ixzz1AFQgA68v You are on to something there, beer rinses make your hair shiny and silky. That is of course, if you put it on the hair, not drink it all, leave some behind for the hair! :))
