What games are similar to WoW that do not require internet connection?
My sister recently moved back home while her husband is deployed. She was an regular WoW player. We do not have broadband internet here in the boonies. So, no World of Warcraft for her. What playstation, Wii or computer video games are similar? If there are any, which are the best and provide the best alternative to WoW? Have you played any of these before?

If you're looking for an in-depth game similar to WoW but without requiring an internet connection you have many options. You might enjoy Neverwinter Nights games. You could also try the Fable and Jade Empire for consoles. The Gothic series should also be noted.
