What game do you despise?

Answer honestly and from personal experience - what game do you just absolutely loath? What system was it for, and what made it so terrible?

The worst game I've ever played is called "Mario's Time Machine." It is an educational Mario adventure, where none of the enemies can harm you in any way. Another terrible game is "Mario Is Missing," which was also educational; but at least that one made sense. In "Mario's Time Machine" you must go into a museum that Bowser has built and enter into different rooms where you will play a minigame similar to the original "Mario Bros." Once you get a Koopa, you'll probably accidentally kick it's shell away which isn't what you want. You need to go near the Koopa and press something (I'm not even sure exactly what). The Koopa will be transformed into an item (e. g. an apple or a quillpen) which you need to bring to the correct time period via a convenient time machine. If you bring the item to the wrong era you're basically out of luck, and even if you manage to get it to the right place, chances are, you'll have no idea what to do next.

Finding Nemo for Gamecube. Little brother bought it.

Load screens that lasted longer than the levels.
Controls that felt like you were driving a semi down a curvy mountain road using TELEPATHY.
You get the gist.

Tokyo Xtreme racer 3 for PS2 because it was pretty much how Oboewan decribes his crappy game; this game felt like I was driving about 30 mph, and the steering controls acted sluggish, so you had to predict when the next turn would be as if I was a psychic. The only racing or driving game I've ever played that wasn't, at least, decent. It literally seemed like the game was defected. I don't know, maybe it actually was, haha.

I absolutely loathe Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64, i hate it how everyone is like "omg its the best old FPS omgomgomg". I loved GoldenEye. The story of Perfect Dark was annoying, I didn't like the sci-fi elements or those crazy ass super weapons. (Shooting through walls anyone?) I know a lot of people liked this game, but i never enjoyed a second of it.

I understand what your talking about though. That's how I am for some popular games too. Sometimes if there's one feature that really bothers me, it might ruin the whole potential wanting to play the game at all. For example: Let's just say I wasn't a Madden guy. Can't remember what the main couple of reasons were for not liking it, but I loved NFL fever, and Sega's NFL 2K3, and really just, loathed the fact that the NFL "market" was bought-out by Madden. I guess, since 05 and some of the newer ones' are definitely getting better(in my eyes).

Perfect Dark was the best reviewed FPS of all time (according to metacritic) I could understand maybe thinking it was overrated, but loathing it?

It's my opinion, I know everyone else loves it, and it got really good reviews, but I never liked the game.

There was a Monopoly game for the PS2 and X-box.
Yep! Just as painful as real life...

Agreed.
I have come to the conclusion that Monopoly is not a game, but an evil torture device created by aliens for the sole purpose of turning us against each other.

Alright, I'll play devil's advocate.

Golden Sun 1 and 2.

Yeah, you heard me. Golden Sun 1 was one of the first true RPGs on the GBA, and I think people sugar-coat it all because of that. But it was such a bad game. Both were. The intro to game 1 is almost insultingly long, with bobbleheads and emoticons and terrible pacing. The combat is drainy and ugly and bland. And the storyline is just about as cookie cutter, story book as you could ever hope to see.

I forced myself to slog through both games to the end. Never once was I entertained. I did it purely so no one could go "Well you never finished it, so..."

I finished it. I hated it. There are far better RPGs out there, especially on the GBA. Don't settle for Golden Sun.

My answer is "any game for the Sega CD ever."
The Sega CD was ultra expensive, and had horrible, disgusting graphics. Worse, a lot of the games cashed in on "full motion video" cutscenes, where real life actors acted out the in-between bits.

There's 2 gems I'd like to point out:

1. Sewer Shark
It's a boring repetitive shooter that takes place in a sewer. What's not to like, you ask? The FMV sequences were very cheesy, and it just generally sucks.

2. Bram Stoker's Dracula
Hands down, one of the most frustratingly difficult side-scrollers ever made. I actually beat it when I was a kid, somehow. A few things about it that are impossible:
-When you have to jump over a cliff, you will fall, every time. It's one of those games where a big portion of the front of a platform is the "background," so you fall straight through it.
-The enemies are relentlessly quick, attack in great numbers, and you are nowhere near armed with enough control to defend against all of them.
