Yes! Santa Monica has a great nightlife, especially if you are an adult over the age of 21. There are a number of really great restaurants, bars, and nightclubs all in walking distance of each other. Hit the Third Street Promenade for late night open air shopping, hit one of their many restaurants, bars or movie theatres. You can also stray a couple blocks from the Promenade and find nightclubs like Harvelles Blues Club on 4th St., Zanzibar on 5th for dancing or the hip Viceroy Hotel bar on Ocean. If you are not over the age of 21 hit the Promenade to walk around safely at night, eat at a great restaurant, and visit shops that stay open late or see a movie. If you happen to visit from about December to February you can find an open-air ice skating ring on the corner of 5th street, that’s fun for all ages.
