I tried my best to try to find a match, but the closest I could get was Times, although all the characters on the screen lined up I couldn't find a match specifically for the "7"

Yeah, the questioner was asking about the specific text, "17" MacBook Pro" in the slide.
I think it's American Typewriter Bold.
Not sure if this is a Mac Font (only) but you can do a test run of Fonts w/ the exact same text at this site:
