What films from this past decade most successfully presented a "dieselpunk" aesthetic?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Cole is the main character and to say the least he has some pretty sweet superpowers to use for with good or evil but more to the point of this response, this video game is an interactive film noir of sorts and I think represents a quality example of modern "dieselpunk".
Have a look at InFamous below and as IGN would say "Lick a battery and come find out if this game rocks."

M$@tboz...Thanks for your suggestions! Yes, I'm also a fan of noir, and those old films are definitely a central inspiration for contemporary dieselpunk style. And pretty much anything directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (director of City of Lost Children) is awesome---my all time favorite of his is Amelie :-)

Beautiful! And definitely a strong example of dieselpunk...
I'm pretty unfamiliar with video games, but the combination of this fabulous visual style + the promise of an Amon Tobin soundtrack tempt me to check this one out :-)
