What features of Facebook do you like the most?

What features of Facebook do you like the least? If you could change any one thing about Facebook, what would it be and why? I know this is a multiple phase question, but am curious as to opinions on this. Seems like Facebook incorporates so many apps and other things into one that it could become overkill. Any thoughts?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

What I like best about Fb is that I am blocked from using the site unless I make a profile. It protects me from accidentally accessing it's pages.

What I don't like about Fb is everything it does, stands for and requires from it's users.

Did you know I was rejected from using Fb because I wouldn't submit my drivers license?

True story. I have the emails to prove it.

A blessing in disguise. Thank you!

Kind of strange that they make Millions of dollars from people giving their personal information to them for free. Millions. How much of that do you get? Zero. And you gave it to them for free! Talk about advertising. How many other websites would you give all your personal data to for free so they can profit off you? I mean besides credit reporting agencies (there's a crime we pay for every day).

I will be SO HAPPY when the truth about Fb is released by Wikileaks but sad for everyone who got hosed. I look forward to what is next instead, leapfrogging entirely over the whole Fb experience!

1. Surprised I got best answer. Thank you for voting.

2. I tried Fb again with a business profile and before I even finished entering my data I got my first prank phone call. I deleted the profile immediately.

So it occurred to me, why would I want my information (even business information) seen by people all over the world that I will never do business with? It makes no sense. Plus 99% of the "friends" are people I've never met, do or would want to do business with in the first place.

Yeah, Fb is out. Tumblr is in! http://tumblr.com (and it updates your Twitter, Fb and MySpace accounts and more automatically!).

I've gotten more relevant hits and real exposure on Tumblr that I have on any other social media site.

Tumblr is so easy to use, no ads, no unnecessary glitz, no one can "poke" you and I can push updates directly from my smart phone. It doesn't suck my life away one app at a time either.

Try it.

I like the general concept of Facebook--keeping in touch with family and friends, seeing their status updates (not including the application updates, which I usually hide), and sharing photos. But one thing I don't like is that if you change your relationship status, which I had to do this past year, it announces it on your wall. In fact, I didn't change my status; I simply deleted it, and still an announcement was made that I was "single," when in fact I had not designated that. Like I said, I simply removed my relationship status. I did go to my wall and delete that unwanted announcement, but not before others had noticed it and started asking questions I didn't want to answer at the time. So I wish there were away to head off such public announcements.

I would like to change the fact that the games and apps other people use get posted on my wall. I think if you haven't accepted the app it should not post to your wall just because someone else posted it on theirs.

Hi. I like the fact that it's easy to get photo's on facebook, as this is a way I share family pics with distant family members. They make pictures and video's easy to put on, and for someone like me, who isn't that computer literate, it helps a lot.The things I don't like on facebook, are all the silly apps people send you. Hearts, hugs, kisses, best friends, etc. etc. I am always removing them, as they are a waste of time, for me anyway! If you open them, then they ask you to share info with everyone etc. I have my settings on friends only, so don't need all those apps anyway. I guess they are fun for some, but that is their decision if they want to bother with them!
