What famous Latin literature is still about?
I only heard about the Bello Gallico. Is there a translated version about online? I think I'd be interested to read it. Is there other Roman or Latin literary jewels about? How can I read them in English?

Latin is an extremely old language that was most commonly spoken in Rome, and spread throughout Europe during the reign of the Holy Roman Empire. From Latin, many other European languages came about from mixing Latin with the dialects of these areas.
Many Latin texts were written at the height of the language’s popularity, and many modern practices and technology we enjoy today are a result of these texts, directly and indirectly. Unfortunately, because many of these were written as manuscripts, not many of ancient Latin texts survive today. Those which have, whether in part or in full, were collected by Harvard University and are published under the Harvard University Press.
Some of the famous authors whose manuscripts were salvaged and now published by the Harvard University Press are:
Augustine of Hippo – wrote Confessions (volumes 1 and 2), City of God (Volumes 1 to 7)
Julius Caesar – wrote Gallic War, Civil War, Alexandrian, African and Spanish Wars
Celsus – wrote On Medicine (volumes 1-8)
Cicero – wrote a whole host of books ranging from philosophy to religion.
