What exactly is Wedding Insurance and is it necessary?
I got married 15 years ago and I guess things were different. Of course, my wedding was a bit low key and low budgeted, as we planned our wedding on my husbands week leave in the military. I am helping a friend plan her wedding and I am the Maid of Honor. I wanted to get some information on wedding insurance. Is it even necessary? What exactly is the concept? Did you get insurance for your wedding?http://farm1.static.flickr.com/229/498956753_a396c63840_t.jpg

A wedding insurance is n insurance that covers all the inconveniences that might come up in a couples wedding and pays them for any expenses that that inconvenience might accrue.
An example of some of the things that the wedding insurance covers are missing or damaged wedding gowns or tuxedos, problem with wedding location , postponement of the wedding and any other thing that has to do with the wedding.
I did not have a wedding insurance but my friend did. I thought it was a waste of money when she told me at first, but at the end of the wedding, I was glad I did not talk her out of it. Her father was her only living relative and a day to the wedding he had an auto accident and the wedding had to be postponed. To my greatest surprise, the insurance paid for them to have their wedding on a different date.
