What ever happened do Di-Gel?

It was my favorite antacid by far... Does anybody know why they stopped making it? or if it may be available somewhere that I don't know about?

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Apparently it has been discontinued by its manufacturer, though antacids exist with similar formulations. Oddly enough, the website of the manufacturer, Aristopharma, doesn't say anything about the discontinuation.

Di-Gel contains calcium carbonate, magnesia, and simethicone. These are very common ingredients of antacids. If you can't get this brand, there are probably several choices at the drugstore that are exactly the same thing with a different brand name. Ask the pharmacist to help you.

There is nothing like Di-Gel on the market. Same ingredients or not; nothing works like Di-Gel. The Di-Gel pill had two distinct layers and It provided relief of nausea and stomach cramps immediately. I have never seen any other antacid with two layers or that works worth a hoot. If you ever used it to cure a severe stomach ache you know I'm talking about; if you never tried it there no way to believe just how fantastic it really was. I was shocked when I couldn't find it anymore; everything else is just bunk. I can't understand why it was discontinued.... it makes no sense.
