about How to Make Guacamole
What else can you use to make guacamole besides avocado? Can you really use broccoli?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I have to say that is the strangest questions I've heard in a while. Avocado-less guacamole? Since the Avocado is 99% of guacamole it may be hard to find a substitute.
Technically an Avocado is a fruit. I guess you could use tomatillo's as a substitute but you may want to roast them in the oven first to get them soft. The end result would be more of a "salsa" but it would have the same general color (green) and nice flavor. Mix the roasted tomatillo's with some crushed garlic, salt, lime juice and maybe some cilantro for flavor.
I don't think I'd want to eat Broccoimole! :)
