What earthquakes historically in the last 100 years have affected the San Andreas fault?

Tip for best answer: M$0.08
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

There have been hundreds of earthquakes along the SA Fault system since records began in 1769.

I guess the worst-case scenario is that the entire Fault slips at once, triggering further slips at faults running north and into the volcanic zone in northern California, Oregon, Washington and BC.
