What does "yo bum rush the show" mean?

The title from Public Enemy's CD.... just wondering, as a non-native English speaking person.
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

"Bum Rush" means to "storm into an establishment" such as in a police raid.

This is supported by the lyrics of the song "We're gonna rush 'em like the Bears in the 46"

"The Show" refers to people in authority who wouldn't let them in. Again, this is deduced by the lyrics that say , "Didn't hoolar at the dollar we willin' to spend / But you took one look and wouldn't let our ass in"

As you will see, the phrase stands for standing up against the establishment after a slight:
Iran's angry young adults erupt in political protest: For five nights in a row, students and families vent frustration with pace of reform. (Scott Peterson, 6/16/03, The Christian Science Monitor)
