What does the tooth fairy do with all of our teeth?

Obviously, creative answers are welcome here. My son just lost another tooth. When he found the money under his pillow this morning left by the tooth fairy, he was a little upset. He said he would rather have the tooth than the money. He wanted to know what the tooth fairy did with all of the teeth she collected. Normally, I can come up with some pretty creative responses, but this time I was at a loss. Any ideas?

The Tooth Fairy sells the little teeth she pulls from under the pillows and sells them to dentist to make false teeth for old people. Yep, that's right! Well, how do you think she gets all that money she leaves lying around under all those pillows. You see at night she opens up her secret closet and pulls out her little fairy wings, her long flowing tutu and tiny little slippers. After she puts on her Tooth Fairy clothing she slips back into the secret closet to gather up her velvet bag of money and sprinkles herself with fairy dust so she can fly.

The Tooth Fairy flies around all night slipping into the rooms of all little children who have placed a tooth under their pillow or in pockets of fairy pillows. She ever so quietly replaces the tooth with money; $1, $5, and sometimes even $10. ( I suppose the healthier the tooth the more money the child will get. But with the economy the way it is the kiddies may be getting more $1 bills than $5 or $10.)

Just before dawn Tooth Fairy flutters back in through her own window and removes her fairy clothing; gently placing it back into the secret closet. Then off she goes to bed for a few hours of rest. Later the Tooth Fairy awakens and puts a mommy costume. She then goes off to town to sell all the teeth to a dentist . Merrily she returns home to prepare for another night of flying all over the world to gather more used teeth.

He got a $1.50. The tooth fairy forgot to go to the ATM. I can remember getting a quarter or fifty cents for a tooth. I guess inflation has even affected the tooth fairy's operations.

The tooth fairy carefully puts the teeth inside oysters and they become beautiful precious pearls.

That's cool. I like the idea of turning teeth into pearls. I would want the pearl back, though.

Oh no---I would have no idea what to say......but the castle idea sounds good.

I would probably say that she was hired by the fairies. She has to take the teeth to make fairy dust. The fairies can't come and get the teeth themselves because they twinkle and the twinkling would wake you up. They are so secretive and can't be seen by people, so the tooth fairy is very sneaky and that's why she does it.

Awww that is sooo adorable!

Good reason - Her great great great great great great grandmother, keeps loosing her dentures. She needs them to make dentures for her. If your son asks why the tooth fairy doesn't just look for the dentures, say the grandmother takes trips, and she loses them during those trips. :o)

Evil reason - She has to feed the teeth eating demon, or else he will come out from his cave and eat everyone's teeth. OK, don't tell him that one. :o)

Ha! I like the dentures idea. There are a lot of absent-minded women in my family. We are always losing things. That would be something he could relate to.

The Tooth Fairy keeps very busy collecting lost teeth. She carefully takes the teeth to Fairy Land where they are planted into a magical garden. The teeth collected grow into magnificent Toothy Fruities. Toothy Fruities are beautiful, fragrant blossoms that all the fairies love! The ones grown from children's little teeth are the prettiest and most fragrant of all! The ones grown from adult (or more mature) lost teeth are strong and help nourish the soil for the little teeth. Toothy Fruity garden is a playland for all the fairies where they gather to share love, peace, and harmony. The beautiful Toothy Fruities and their magical fragrance also energizes the Tooth Fairies so they can keep up with their busy schedules!

Thats kinda funny. My husband always told our children that the tooth fairy keeps the teeth and makes false teeth out of them. For some time it was a believable story and when my children told their friends it was a true believer lol.

hmm... id say she flies back to her castle made of lost teeth and adds them to her walls to build it high! where she has a watch tower viewing Earth and scanning for teeth under a pillow. She also has scouts that go around Earth disguised as people watching for children with teeth that are missing. They put a tracking device on them and then go to their house to look and see if there is one under the pillow. i know all this because im a personal friend of the tooth fairy. ^_^

That is great! That is the best story about the tooth fairy that I have ever heard--save the movie with Dwayne Johnson.

Because teeth have roots, they are planted and flowers grow from them. The flowers are called lilies because the tooth fairy's name is Lily.
