What does space smell like?

Or is it even possible for the majority of space to contain smell with the absence of chemicals?
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Since space is a vacuum, there is no matter in space. It is this matter, which is many different chemicals that you smell. If there are no chemicals, you cannot smell anything.

Space is a very large void and a vacuum. The only "known" space smell would be that of the moon dust that Apollo astronauts reported having a smell similar to gun powder.
