Wat does it take to be banished from Mahalo? hopefully the occasional disagreement is not a reason..

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

We've banned people for abusing Mahalo, a great idea is to read the Terms of Service and learn all the rules. In nutshell.

Don't spam the same commercial website in all your answers, don't post inappropriate malware spreading websites in your answers, don't personally attack other community members. Especially don't create multiple accounts and vote on your own answers. That will get you banned.

Yes, the darcylogan thing was really big. For you new users: Darcy Logan was one of the first black belts, but she was caught with multiple accounts. She was banned, and there was a lot of discussion on the site about it. Do not have multiple accounts.

Disagreements are bound to come up. As long as it is kept civil, I think people will have no problem with that.

Someone on here was spamming one online purchasing site as the answer to every "where can I get a..." type question. It looks like that user was banned. That's the only time I've personally seen it happen, since I'm a relatively new user. Hopefully some of the more seasoned Mahaloans can share more information on what NOT to do.

Lol, no our little dispute should not cause something that bad. Maybe a warning but that would be it. The people of Mahalo are good people.
