If it is a lower left abdominal pain, the symptoms usually are recurrent and severe aching in the lower left part of the abdomen which can indicate serious illness. Patients experience a shooting pain which is followed by vomiting and a tingling sensation when urinating. Sometimes there is also stabbing pain in the lower part of the left kidney which should have immediate medical attention as it can be life threatening. Hope this helps.
