What does "bump to voting" mean?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

This can be remedied a couple of ways:
1. using the report button. This just makes more work for Mahalo staff. They are overworked and understaffed already.
2. Make a comment. I like "Bump", some people use "Bump to voting". This will allow the answer to be seen by Mahalo and therefore the question will show as having an answer. It will then move to the voting section..
Its good to see 'bump to voting' as it shows people are looking out for other members....
This also works with the NEW direct answer indicator that gets stuck. I mention it here:

M$See Mahalo question below which asked people who find these questions to comment with the word "vote" or answer the question yourself. "Bump to vote" is just a variation on that"
