what doctor do i go to to obtain a prescription for medical marijuana? Primary care doc, or pain mgmt doc?

I see a pain management doctor but he is a DO and dont think he will want to prescribe medical marijuana(mmj)
I need to find a new primary care doctor, any suggestions on finding one who can help me obtain the prescription for mmj?
