What do you typically pay for local entertainment?

Do you go out in your local area? Comedy clubs? Plays? Concerts?

How much do you usually pay for your local entertainment?

Would you pay $20 for a local magic show? What would influence your decision to spend $20?
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Our comedy clubs here are usually a 10-15 dollar entry fee which is worth it because Ryan Stiles owns the club here and he is totally worth it!
For a magic show? Around here I would pay depending on where the show was held...if it was being held at a downtown bar/club then I wouldn't pay $20 dollars...if it was a nicer place like a theater then yeah I would.
Most concerts around here are rather cheap, we don't get many 'big names' dropping by, with the exception or Aerosmith, Pearl Jam and Blue Oyster Cult like 10 years ago, that I would of paid a good price to see.

I would pay $12 max for a local magic show, unless it was a somewhat well known magician. If it is a well known magician that I know is entertaining I'd pay $20.
