What do you think was the best draft choice the Dallas Cowboys ever made?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$2nd round 36th pick he played 178 games.
862 receptions - most by any drafted Dallas Cowboy. 112 more receptions than Irvin.
12287 reception yards - again, most by any drafted Dallas Cowboy.
67 TDs second only to Hall of Famer Bob Hayes.
Now, he never did any of the above on the Dallas team. All of those stats were with the Jags, but he was drafted by Dallas.
If you want his tenure to be largely with Dallas, Jeffcoat. Hard to argue with his 102+ sacks that he wasn't a force in his time.

Tom Landry, Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett, Troy Aikman, Jason Whitten, Tony Romo, Randy White. I just dont care for Jerry Jones, If they had different ownership I would probably be back onboard.
well as you can see, I listed Tony dorsett as my favorite draft pick. Please excuse me if I get a littel excited and go beyond what was asked. I just love football. Neither Roger Staubach nor Tom Landry were drafted, I am aware. But they are my favorite all-time cowboys none the less. Do you have any favorites?
My personal favorite cowboy of all time is a toss up between Roger Staubach and Tom Landry, and yes, I'm old enough to have seen them both!

how would Tom Landry even been drafted?
