WWE means World Wrestling Entertainment. It is 'entertainment'. It isn't fake always. The outcome of the matches and backstage goings are pre-planned and scripted by some writers. Sometimes the wrestlers actually get hurt and the injuries are real as well. But most of the time they fake their injuries to make the storyline feel real to the people.

I am watching wrestling for over 10 years now and it is more than half of my life. When I started watching wrestling I really thought it was real because it wasn't easy to find out about the storyline they are promoting and all. Those days they used a lot of fights with blood and steel .. so it seemed real to anyone who watched, But nowadays WWE isn't using blood in their story lines often because people from every age group watch and enjoy WWE and they have their PG rating going on. But when we watch WWE for years the same storyline comes and goes and anyone will see that this is scripted. !! !!!

WWE superstars are, of course talented and what they do is entertain the crowd by being either a heel ( which people 'boooo' } or a face ( which people 'yeah .' ) All these hell turns or being faces are scripted by a group of storyline writers. Think if it isn't scripted do you want to be a hell rather than to be a face and being cheered by the thousands and thousands of people... !!!

Another thing is some storylines portray, personal feuds between a heel and a face and it seems that they will kill each other if they meet at any place other than the arena. But after their match is over ( feuding for about 2 or 3 months with different match types) they are perfect friends again. Sometimes the superstars prep-talk that they will do everything to get the opponent down ... then comes to the ring and takes a chair and hit him once on the back and takes a pin to no victory ..but if they can do anything why don't they swing the chair all over his opponent to win.. Sometimes in matches like 'Royal Rumble' it takes a lot of time to eliminate a superstar and to throw him out of the ring even by the effort of two or three superstars. When the opponent is on the apron why don't they give a nice kick as in the other matches so, he will be thrown out of the apron to be eliminated ... those tricks add tie and colour to the match,,, and that's how the match is planned ...
****** Check out this video : even a professional WWE superstar agrees that WWE is just pure entertainment and it isn't real life...

The WWE superstars do what they really do at their best when performing in-front of the crowd. Yeah .. they pre-plan about the match and they try to reduce the impact and the harm that is caused when performing their moves and submissions on the other by various techniques.. that's why they train for years and years to be able to compete in ring.
Another example is the referees in the match .. sometimes they are fooled by the superstars who are there as a heel gimmick and the match is cheated. If the match officials are real, and if they do their homework .. they can watch the tapes and videos of the match they refereed and they can learn no to be fooled again. But it happens again at the next match.

Yeah .. WWE is scripted and fake .. but sometimes injuries can happen too .. I mean real injures. There are countless number of times the superstars got themselves injured and they have undergone severe surgeries because they miscalculated their moves .. It is really tough to be a WWE star ... That's why we shouldn't try those moves at home or at school ......

Sometimes the superstars use the tricks on the crowd like disappearing from a place and then reappearing from another place when the lights are gone for about few seconds. They use various techniques + camera effects to make it feel real and perfect for the crowd. Most of the times superstars are released from WWE for abusing the rules and what they do is they pretend to be severely injured and they leave the ring with stretchers. Sometimes some superstars does that and leave the ring for a while to engage in their personal matters too .......

So finally what I have got to say is :::::: : : ::
WWE ------------ > scripted + fake + sometimes moves and tricks can go wrong x entertainment ...!!!
It is just entertainment !!!
Watching WWE/F for over 12 years !!!! My very own personal opinion ....

M$What amaze me is that after having beaten each they can still fly and take the same plane to their next venue.
They are men who are really masters at what the do.

M$If you look at it from an entertainment aspect, then you see it for what is it, entertainment.
If you are watching it to see something line UFC, you'll be disappointed.

What a very great, detailed, in-depth answer. Keep up the good work !
How about celebrating Breaking Point, with a Answer of the Day nomination ?
P.S : Sorry for the late nomination ! :(
