This is definitely big news, but I'm not sure what I think of it at this point. I have some suspicions about how things are going to go, but overall I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing. I guess it was a natural progression of events, so I should generally approve of it. AOL is probably the right company to buy it considering their existing blog holdings.
I don't think Mike Arrington would make a good employee, so let's hope they give him a long leash. If they become controlling, I expect a lot of controversy and fiery exit from him. I personally wouldn't want to work for AOL, but $30 million would likely change my mind.
