For me, I love Spicy foods, because it gives the food some flare and gives me the needed appetite to enjoy the food I love to eat. Furthermore, spicy foods reminds me about the term "What is life without Spices?'

I am Mexican, it would be blasphemous for me not to like spicy food, LOL

The pickled jalapeño peppers that many of my American and Canadian friends find too hot I can actually eat like I would a pickle. Serrano peppers, chile anchos, chile colorin and even the dreaded habanero pepper are welcome on my plate.

I hate spicy foods. My son will tell me to try a certain food and tell me it's not hot at all and 9 times out of 10, it will burn my tongue off. No spice for me please. :-)

I love spicy food. That being said, I'm not a fan of sauces that simply try and be as hot as possible. If it's not a good flavor, the level of heat can't make up for it. In general though, count me in when it comes to spicy food.

Unfortunately, I am a spices lover and enjoy my food the hotter, the better. I am saying unfortunately, because, while a bit of spicy food is certainly delicious and challenging to eat, the hotness in most spicy foods, such as for example, jalapeno peppers, is actually a type of poison used by the pepper plant as a defense mechanism to ward of predators and keep them from eating the plant. This is likely why frequent enjoyment of spicy foods as been linked to stomach ulcers, gastro intestinal cancers and other ailments of the digestive system. I love spicy food, but I had to learn to consume it less often and in smaller quantities.

I love spicy foods. My taste leans toward the very spicy as long as it doesn't cross over into four alarm country the I'm good. I even grow my own jalapeño peppers in the summer.

I love spicy food that is done right. Don't just add hot pepper or tabasco sauce to make it hot. Spicy should mean spices and there are many ways to spice food right.

Love them! I have a few beliefs that have to do with spicy food besides the fact that I love the taste of them. I believe that spicy foods cause your temperature to rise; warding off sickness. I think the spices themselves also ward off sickness. I am Amerasian so I was raised with very spicy food.

I love spicy food! But, I only use them moderately because I couldn't stand if it's too hot. I love using a lot of spices every time I cook. Two of my most favorite spices are:
Hot Chili

Black pepper
